Eden M. Kennedy is the co-author (with Alice Bradley) of the book Let's Panic About Babies! (St. Martin's Press, 2011).

A former college-radio DJ, Mrs. Kennedy has driven cross-country six times in a 1973 Volkswagen Bug and enjoys standing on her head.

Currently she works a straight job and is just about finished writing her first novel.

So, we're leaving in about an hour to drive down to LAX so Alice can catch the red-eye back to New York.

Last night we ordered in a pile of sushi and argued about which movie we were going to watch with dinner. Alice very sensibly wanted to watch Elf and I threw my full support behind her.

Jackson rudely vetoed our guest, however, insisting that we needed to watch Star Wars Episode VI. Jack then vetoed Jackson, fisticuffs ensued, and we ended up watching something everybody loved but nobody really felt like watching and drinking too much sake, and the next thing I knew I woke up drooling in Jackson's bed at 1:45 a.m. and someone had felted my teeth.
